last days – #008

but in these last days God has spoken to us by his Son (Jesus), whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world. (Hebrews 1:2)

That’s how important the position of Jesus in our lives.

We’ve given our due respect to kings and those in authorities; we’ve honored heads of states, ministers and members of parliaments. We seriously need to consider the person who truly deserved our highest honor and respect.

The man, the Son of God, that person who died on the cross to redeem us from our sins, rose again from the dead and is seated at the right of God Almighty.

This same Jesus, God Almighty had appointed heir of all things.

The psalmist of the Old Testament had pondered the wonders of creations and given praise to God. The birds of the air remembered their Creator; the beast of the field had preferences to the Maker who provided. They all acknowledged the rightful Creator and Master. Therefore it is good for us in our generation to remember our rightful Master and Creator as well.

Jesus is the rightful appointed Master of this created world which we are living in, and He will set His house in order.

The same Jesus whom God Almighty had appointed heir of all things will return in person.

Every house have its house rule, likewise this world we are living in have its rule as well. Lest we forget the will and commandments of Jesus is our house rule. Whatever Jesus had spoken and taught had everything to do with our identity and destiny in God.

The words of Jesus are our entrance into the Kingdom of God, our prerequisites to be with Jesus for all eternity, our proof that we belongs to Jesus.

Every broken rule will have its consequences and for that very reason the earth had gone through various judgements of God due to human sins. Yet again this world we are living in will be judged, and the judgement of God will climax in the return of Jesus.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17)

Jesus had said it, and it’s a declaration of His will and intention for mankind. But we do have a serious problem today. It not a new problem, history repeats itself, men and women had not given up the idea of going against the will and commandments of God. What make things different is that wickedness will beget more wickedness.

We are living in a time when men and women will do all they can to change the house rule, again, but with more “ideas” “creativeness” and “professionalism”.

We are living in a time when known “Christian” entity will misrepresent God’s rule, and that makes it “more creative” for the devil to deceive people.

Imagine a man without any portfolio, no attachment to any denominations, no accreditation to well established Bible School, no PhD – such a man goes around teaching and preaching strange doctrines contrary to the will of God, who cares?

People of this world have got accustomed to “branding”.

Therefore when you have a man or woman of strong firm accreditation, a person of honor from well-established denominations, and such a known leader to deliver messages in the context of God but re-interpret doctrine of sins and repentance and marginalized the position of Jesus – in such a situation many will be easily deceived and lead astray.

The devil will resort to “professional branding” to deceive.

For those who will not be deceived, the enemies of Jesus will resort to man-made authority to spread sins and wickedness – indeed we are already faced with circumstances when the enemies of Jesus are using legal means to impose sins and wickedness upon us, knowing that the strength of the law is in the hands of “law-givers”. When “law-givers” who are known to be “Christians” fell to deceptions of the devil, we will see history repeats itself when Man rebel against God through self-justification on a massive scale, collective human uprising against the will of God.

The devil’s end game will be to re-introduce an alternative Messiah, a different kind of “Jesus” as according to the will and desire of people who refused to serve God’s will.

With the devil’s replacement so will come the change of law. But how do we tell the fake from the real?

but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 10:33)

The real Jesus had left us an example. How we need to stand firm and keep our position with God and remain fruitful inside the Kingdom of God.

For the sake of obedience and submitting to the will of the Father, the real Jesus was mocked, tortured and put to shame. The last moments of Jesus when He died on the cross was horrendous who could bear it?

The real Jesus was the example of resistance against sin and unrighteousness.

Jesus chooses the honor of God and not men. Likewise we are given that choice. Do we desire the honor of men or do we seek approval from God Almighty.

Through the real Jesus we learned to fear God and stand our ground.

We are living in the time when wicked men and women will commit more wickedness against true disciples of Christ, but our faith and our future are with our Father in heaven and with Jesus in the Kingdom of God.

Through the real Jesus we walk the path of holiness and truth, and in agreement with the will and commandments of the Father.

Lest we forget, the records of the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles have also shown us why in their times people rejected the real Jesus.

In the days of John the Baptist and Jesus, people who rejected the real Jesus they rejected God’s will and command for repentance from sin.

In the days of the Gospel, those who choose to crucify the real Jesus they did so to reject the proper salvation plan of God.

In the days of the Apostles, those who reject the kingdom of God did so to embrace their own worldly privilege and honor.

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? (Mark 8:36)

The real Jesus rejected sin and wickedness, suffered death at the hands of unrighteousness men but God raised Him from the dead and appointed Him heir of all things.
