Next Generation Revival …

As the time draws nearer to the return of Jesus in person

We will see a clear divide where people are observed based on their commitment and dedication …

(Revelation 22:10-13)

And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

We are living in our generation when and where people have learned to be effective and productive in what they do …

People commit themselves to achieve something

Question is … for what purpose and to what end?

For those who set priority to serve the plan and purpose of the Great Commission and to await the return of our Lord and Savior in person …

Be ready for “next generation revival” … as we continue our service and commitment to Jesus!

God will give the increase to those who are committed to His plan and purpose.

There have been revivals and spiritual awakenings since the days of old

End of the day how do people know it is a move of God?

When the word and promises of the Lord is magnified to the extend people would say among themselves –

surely God have visited His people

God visit His people to fulfill specific needs in order to set His people free from obstructions and hindrances that prevent us from fulfilling His plan and purpose.

Two specific areas of attention we need to be prepared for …

Decentralization of Commissioned and Ordained Ministries

We need to fit ourselves into Jesus’ plan and purpose, and not the other way round.

(Hebrews 10:12-13)

But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet.

(1 Corinthians 15:20-28)

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

Jesus’ plan and purpose is unfolding and we need to response accordingly so that we fit into His plan and purpose.

The decentralization of commissioned and ordained ministries is not to facilitate a rebellious attitude but instead …

to revive a pure obedience to the supremacy and headship of Christ as The Head of the church.

Every church leader should know the Great Commission Matthew 28:18-20 but we need to be aware of denominational policies and organizational regulations which may act against the fulfillment of it.

When such man-made rules and policies disagree and or hinder the fulfillment of the Great Commission, it creates an atmosphere of spiritual cut-off from the plan and purpose of Jesus and eventually leads to spiritual suicide, spiritual death.

Of course our good Lord and Savior want us to grow in Him and be fruitful, but we need to do things as according to His plan and purpose.

(Acts 5:29)

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

As according to the will of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the first principle of supporting church-plating and mission enterprise should be

Willingness and Obedience

(Matthew 21:28-30)

The Parable of the Two Sons

“What do you think? A man had two sons. And he went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ And he answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind and went. And he went to the other son and said the same. And he answered, ‘I go, sir,’ but did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?”

The important point of this parable is about acts of obedience.

Difficult inconvenient truth …. Have we not heard enough real life stories of men and women rejected into full-time ministry because of certain denominational rules and policies and mismanagement?

The same list of people God used to move nations and start revival

God will do it again and even more so on a wide-spread scale..

 (Luke 10:2)

And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

Do not be surprised there remain a lot of people who have yet to hear the name of Jesus. God will send forth more evangelist and church-planters.

Children and Women Ministry

Our generation has witness horrendous accounts of children’s neglect and abuses on a rampant scale. And women whom God have created to love and care for children have suffered as well.

Therefore, all over the world, we see common rampant social woes of families break-down, domestic violence and abuses.

It is the will of Jesus to bring truth, healing, justice and righteousness to the injured and oppressed through the body of Christ …

(Colossians 1:15-20)

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

For the oppressed to be fully freed of their oppression, only the power and authority of God Almighty can do.

The will of Jesus is for all of us who are born-again regenerated Christians and who are led of the Holy Spirit to be part of the Great Commission and to raise the next generations’ sons and daughters of God.

We work as a team with Jesus and for Jesus.

Therefore let no man-made policies and or denominational rules hinder you serving Jesus.

If Jesus calls you to serve, go for it!

Let me end this message with

(Philippians 1:6)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

We are not alone, all over the world there are like-minded people whom God have prepared to work together with Jesus and for Jesus.
